Monsieur Henri Bourgeois from Sancerre has brought a decidedly French feel to this hand-crafted New World Sauvignon. It has a typical ripe Marlborough Sauvignon blanc nose of gooseberry and passionfruit. Fresh citrus aromas are present throughout the long palate that begins with intensity and hints at minerality as it lingers for a long mouth-filling Sancerre-like finish. This wine will open in the glass and is greater with food. Expected to age well for at least 5 years.
