This is a delightful Morgon with plenty of weight and density giving it great ageing potential (5-10 years). Combining power with finesse, a very drinkable style with cherry and plum aromas. Well constructed, juicy, pure and fresh with layered, mineral-toned dark fruit. Subtle and harmonious.

Located in the historic capital of Beaujolais, Domaine de Bel-Air has been producing excellent Beaujolais since 1840. Today the estate is run by Jean-Marc Lafont, who, since 1992 has used eco-friendly vine techniques with minimal intervention to produce healthy, natural grapes. Jean-Marc produces impressive well-built fruit-forward wines and deserves to heralded amongst the Beaujolais elite.
