Vin d'Oc
Domaine de Raissac
Rosé
'Les Lys'
A 'Bloody Rosé' from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is called this because of the wine making process used called "saigner," meaning "to bleed" in French. During this saigner process, a touch of color is leeched from the skins of red grapes (all grape juice is more or less clear without skin contact) prior to fermentation, leaving the finished wine a dark samon hue.Pink glints with silver salmon reflections.
A delicate nose of raspberry and red currants, wild strawberry flavours dominate a refreshing and balanced palate, which resonates to a long finish.
