'Les Cres'
The wine is silvery yellow in colour. The nose is rich with subtle perfumes of apricots and wild flowers. On the palate there are flavours of passion fruit and sweet spices.
An interesting wine to have as an apéritif.
Viognier works well with dishes that might normally call for Gewürztraminer, spicy dishes, such as spicy oriental stir-frys and even curry, especially Thai-style made with coconut milk.
Very little oak is used to produce the wine, making it fresh and easy to drink.
