Cognac Leyrat is a multi-award winning estate. The grapes are grown in a very special part of the Fins-Bois that is famed for its excellent chalky soils. The Leyrat style is for light, feminine brandies exhibiting gentle spiciness and sweet floral notes. The Domaine de Chez Maillard is an exceptional site producing outstanding cognacs. The vineyards have excellent chalky soils and receive above average sun due to their superb aspects; in short, the vineyards offer the perfect terroir to produce this distinct cognac.
