Domaine de San de Guilhem

Côtes de Gascogne is a wine-growing district in Gascony producing principally white wine.

Lying in near the Armagnac country, Domaine de San Guilhem is run by Alain Lalonne who has 50ha of vine.

The cooling influence of the Atlantic ensures a slow ripening period, while the fermentation temperatures help this Côtes de Gascogne retain its wonderful, tangy freshness.

The wine is produced from a traditional blend, including Gros Manseng, which gives depth of flavour.

The decree of the 13th of September 1968 created the difference between a Vin de Pays and the simpler table wine - Vin de table.

With this, Domaine de San de Guilhem in Côtes de Gascogne region was designated a Vin de Pays - a wine the country can be proud of!
