Château Petit Clos Du Roy
After Jean Janoueix returned from to Correze in Bordeaux in the late nineteenth century, he was aided by his son to develop the family vineyard.
Beyond famous wines, François was able to pass on to his children, the greatest legacy of all: the love of work, the love of making high quailty wines and the passion to discover different consumer countries.
Today, Huguette Janoueix Lagadec, Bernard Janoueix et Bernadette Janoueix Gintrac and the younger generation have adopted modern wine making methods, while remaining faithful to tradition.
The viticulture and winemaking are strictly controlled allowing the negocient to offer wines corresponding to the tastes of wine lovers while remaining true to the character of each appellation.
Château Petit Clos Du Roy is a beautiful Girondine Charter House with porch balusters from the eighteenth century. The third generation of the Janoueix family run this prestigious estate.
Only 6000 cases are prodcued per annum.
