Château Lafleur Saint-Jean

Château Lafleur St Jean is located in the heart of the high 'plateau' of Pomerol, neighbouring the prestigious Château Petrus and Lafleur Petrus.

The avergage age of the vines in Château Lafleur St Jean are around 50 years old, which is remarkable. This means the vines will be very "hardened" and its roots will be buried deep in the famous soil. This makes for a wine with great concentation!

The soil is mainly composed of red gravel and gray sub soil. The wine's typical blend is 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.

Château Lafleur St Jean is an impressive wine with an outstanding level of quality. Each vintage makes big ageing potential, concentrated wines, full-bodied and balanced wines with fine aromas.
